Original Monotypes

If standing ankle-deep in the cold rush of creek water is my church, these pieces are beautiful, tangible, and ever so thankful prayers. The process is a reflective one that starts with foraging in nearby fields and my own garden, collecting pieces to bring back to my studio to capture in an original monotype. Once dry, I gild each one to heighten the magic. Each has a signature at the bottom right, but I've also finished each with a secret quote or a thought on the back that I hope brings a moment of reflection.
