Welcome to the Office of Maps, Measures, & Wayfinding, tucked away safely inside Beside the Point.
Each month, our traveling mapmaker sends a little piece of the wider world back to the office, and—by way of some very reliable postal magic—onward to you.
Your monthly envelope will contain an illustrated letter from the road alongside a new piece of 5”x7” artwork inspired by the places, people, peculiarities, and small discoveries encountered along the way. Together, the mailings will slowly build a world beyond the edges of the map, documenting the Painted Terrain Daydreams. The dispatches are part correspondence, part collection, and part ongoing story.
The Daydream Dispatches Mail Club is a recurring monthly subscription. Join during an open enrollment period ( the 1st through the 10th of each month) and you’ll be charged on the monthly anniversary of your sign-up until the mail club concludes or you choose to cancel. You’re welcome to cancel at any time.
Each mailing is designed to stand beautifully on its own, so you don’t need to have been here from the beginning, but those who stay awhile may begin to notice certain roads crossing, names reappearing, and the map becoming a little less empty.
Consider this your invitation to receive correspondence from somewhere just beside the point.
The Nitty Gritty:
Each month, you’ll receive a 5”x7” soft-touch matte art print of that month’s original Daydream, a separate illustrated postcard or letter from our mapmaker, and a sticker pulled from or related to the artwork.
