These small original pieces are part of a (not quite) daily painting practice where I clear my mind and play, achieving a sort of guided contemplation through paint. I’m intentionally integrating a block of time in my days just to create for its own sake. It’s a chance to tune out any expectations or larger body of work, and my entire purpose is to feel the brush dragging across the paper, to see how the paint pools this way or mixes that way.
The real beauty of creativity stretching itself is experimentation, and not everything turns out how it’s imagined, but some pieces definitely deserve a better life than my desk drawer. You will find those here, waiting for you to bring them home.
