"Forged in the Valley" is a love letter of sorts to Youngstown, Ohio, my hometown area. A key location in the Steel Valley… or the Rust Belt. The industry that built the city collapsed in the 1970s, but the culture of hard work and grit are reflected even now as the area continues to redefine and rebuild itself. I have a great love and respect for this place and its history.

The image was sketched directly onto the block and then carved and printed in-studio. The image is approximately 10.5”x15.5”, making it versatile for framing options, depending on how much white space you’d like to leave around it.

The print  is signed with number from the edition (out of 50), title, and date at the bottom. It is available in black ink on Nideggen natural or 100% cotton Stonehenge paper in white (pictured).

Due to the handmade nature of blockprinting, each print will be unique and may differ slightly from the pictured original. Rest assured, care will be taken to guarantee you love your print!
