"Cynosure I" is tiny 2”x3” landscape study. A tiny blockprint of a mountain with trees in the foreground, and a geometric sky. The image was first sketched and then carved from a block, and pressed individually by hand. There are only ten prints in the edition.
“Cynosure: (n) A person or thing that is the center of attention or admiration.”
The actual image is 2”x3” and printing on approximately 4”x6” paper, either Nideggen Natural, a fine bookmaking paper, or 100% cotton rag in fawn. The print is signed with year, edition number (out of 10), and title at the bottom. Fits nicely into a 5”x7” frame with a 4”x6” mat (as shown).
