Church of Trees: The Northeast Window

Church of Trees: The Northeast Window

44.00

"The Northeast Window" is an original block print inspired by the traditional stained glass windows in churches everywhere. It is part of an ongoing series intended to glorify the landscape across the United States, and in particular our beautiful trees. The inner circle features a tiny stylized scene based on the coastline in Acadia National Park, while the outer geometric figures house trees and greenery. The image was first sketched and then carved from a single block, and each print is hand-pressed.

The diameter of the image is approximately 11" and the larger sheet is just over 12". The print  is signed with date and title at the bottom, and is available in black ink on either Nideggen natural or white 100% cotton Stonehenge paper. The full title (with the series name) is written on the back.

Due to the handmade nature of blockprinting, each print will be unique and may differ slightly from the pictured original. Due to the large black areas of this design, there will be slight patching. Rest assured, care will be taken to guarantee you love your print!

This print is UNFRAMED.
